In the automotive industry, Isopropanol Alcohol is mainly used after the vehicle has been machine polished to make sure painted surfaces are clean of oil and polish residue.
To be used after you have machine polished, mix with water up to 50:50 and use in a low-pressure spray. Isopropyl can also be used as a body wash before applying sealants or wax polish to make sure the surface is clean.
