Classic Mini Pickup Restoration
This classic Mini Pickup has undergone a full high quality restoration with no cost restrictions, at 2Refinish Classic Cars, based in Hinckley, East Midlands.
The body of the Mini Pickup was totally reconstructed with new panels, including total new floor and load bed. Mini Heritage parts used where possible during the restoration project in our Classic Car Workshop. A new fuel tank made from stainless steel was fitted.
The engine has been fitted with a new old stock carburettor from 1979. The engine and gearbox have been totally rebuilt. The engine has been upgraded from the standard 848cc to a 998cc. The only other upgrades to the are an electronic distributor, and brand new disc brakes on the front.
This restoration has made the Mini Pickup into a better quality than when it came from the factory as a new car.
